High rib mesh is a ribbed expanded metal strip, 445 mm wide, that stays in the concrete as formwork where one pour meets the next. It uses the same rib profile as our rib lath, with ribs 5–10 mm high, but is supplied as narrow strips for construction joints rather than wide sheets for plastering. Wet concrete passes through the open mesh and sets into it, so the joint is keyed and needs no stripping or scabbling. We make it in our own factory in Anping, China, in galvanized or 304 stainless steel. Orders start from 1 piece, and samples are available.
Galvanized High Rib Mesh
Our standard high rib mesh is 445 mm wide and comes in lengths of 2000, 2200 and 3000 mm. Fix it to the reinforcement at the end of a pour, where it takes the place of a conventional stop-end board. The mesh stays in the structure, and its open pattern lets you see the concrete as it is placed.
Ribs run along the strip and give it stiffness, using the same rib profile as our rib lath. Zinc coating can be G60, G90 or standard hot-dip galvanized, or to your own requirement.

304 Stainless Steel High Rib Mesh
Where the mesh will stay in damp or corrosive conditions, we supply high rib mesh in 304 stainless steel in the standard sizes. Stainless steel resists rust better than galvanized steel, and the same open mesh keys the joint for the next pour.
Rib profile, rib height and pallet packing are the same as the galvanized mesh.
